New from North Georgia
We are Rick and Melissa and are soon to be empty nesters. We live within 10 miles of Lake Allatoona and spend a lot of time there on our pontoon. The 261BHXL completes our ultimate set up. We also love to cruise and when I found this app similar to Cruise Critic I got very excited. Here's to many days in the Great Outdoors!

We too live in North Georgia (Jasper).
Love camping at Allatonna Landing. Maybe one day we can catch up and go camping together.
Check out Ft Moountain State Park too.

Sounds great. We are in Cartersville. We camp at Red Top mostly. I love Doll Mountain in Talking Rock.

Hi! we too camp at Red Top.. have a good friend that works there.
Think our rig is too big to get into Doll Mtn. We have a work & Play 25 ULA and with the truck we are at 50 feet long. Too many people at Doll on weekends for us.

Well heck with so many FROG's in the North Georgia area... let plan a mini get together!!

Welcome to the forum. We also live in N. Ga. (Blairsville). Love camping a Carters Lake (Woodring), Bolding Mills and are going to Duckett Mill next month.

We camp at Mistletoe State Park near Augusta, several times a year. Do love that park! Once a year, we stay at Bulldog Park in Athens. Wife goes to continuing education class at UG and the occasional UGA football game. Headed up to Mistletoe for 18th-22nd of March. Taking canoe on roof.
No long trips till the end of May at Ft. DeSoto just below Tampa. Ten days of R&R!

CSM. Go to "User CP" on the green bar at top left. Then under "Networking" click on Contacts and friends". You can accept or reject whoever from there.

Anyone been to Bolding Mill?
HI,
I'm going to Bolding Mill on the 18th for three nights on site #3. Does anyone have any idea what it looks like, I heard it might be steep to the lake. I usually go to Old Federal. I also have a reservation for McKinney Campground in July. I just love all the camping options in Georgia. Why leave the state!

As far as site 3 at Bolding Mills, you might be able to look at it on the web site:
recreation.gov and look at the pictures under details for that site. This time of year the lake level should be up. Real nice cg.
