New from Oregon

After 8 years of planning, I'm picking up my 2014 Solera 24r in a few days!

I grew up spending weekends in a motorhome, but my husband didn't, so I've spend years and years getting him to see the light. Eight years ago, we built a barn and added 50 amp service for my dad's visits. Obviously, I have horrible persuasion skills, since I'm only finally going to be using it myself (with a 50/30 converter, of course).

I live in beautiful Bend, Oregon, and I can camp in BLM land 5 minutes from my house. I'm going to guess that the majority of my camping will be within a 45 minute drive. We also plan on some Washington State University tailgating, since they still allow overnights.

I have 4 kids, but I will mostly have my 2 youngest boys with me, since the other 2 kids are adults. I'm also going to be that weird person that camps with a cat or two or more.

I almost said that I didn't think I could ever convey how excited I am for all of the amazing times ahead of me, but this I realized that you all know. Just in case, OMG, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Very good, Boise and Meridian are having their annual tear up the freeway party but it is not bad yet.

I-84 or 20?
