New from South Florida

Hi everyone. I'm very new to rv ownership and haven't even decided on one yet. I have until summer to find one.

I think I'm doing this backwards compared to most people. I moved to south Florida from Michigan 23 years ago for my career and now that I'm retired, I miss Michigan summers and still have friends and family there so am going to park a 5th wheel up there and visit it for 3 months or so each summer. I am widowed so hopefully the maintenance and winterization won't be too bad for me to figure out.

Im hoping to learn all i need to know from this forum as I have had rvs before but never been the maintainer. Glad to be here!

Welcome to the site! I found the right travel trailer sooner than I was ready to pull the trigger but it had a price point I couldn't pass up. For almost a year I borrow my sister's Yukon to tow it before getting my own truck.

Learning how to winterize and maintain your RV is half the battle. The other half can be finding ways to make it happen. I had some challenges when I first became an RV owner but in time I found solutions.

This forum is really helpful and full of wonderful members willing to assist.
