New from Texas with a water line question

We purchased a 2015 FR Legacy 360RB a few months ago. Just getting connected to forum. We have been trying to get familiar with rv and just ran into a problem.

Water on floor, seems to be coming from whirlpool ice maker connection. I can hear a "spewing" sound when water pump is turned on. When I turn off water pump, it is good. Bad news is we cannot get service appointment within 60 mile radius until at least 3 weeks out. Called Coach Net and will not cover trip mileage nor service fee of mobile mechanic because rv can be driven. Called FR and they said they would cover repair, but not service fee/trip charge. We are scheduled to leave for vacation this weekend.

Question - I have checked the rv for an ice maker water shutoff valve (under bath sinks, kitchen sink, walls next to refrigerator and floor under dinette) and cannot find a valve. Does one exist and if so, where is it?

I guess alternatively, I can pull refrigerator out and check water line and either fix it or disconnect it with a shutoff valve until it can be repaired at service center.

Hi deeal,

On our 38FL, there is a white push/pull valve located outside, under the slideout the refrigerator is located in.

If at any time, your rv was in sub freezing weather, the cheap plastic parts of the solenoid that feeds your ice maker could have cracked.

You might want to also ask this question in the "Legacy" forum.

Good luck,

We live in the southeast part of Houston - Seabrook, Kemah, League City area.

FR rep told us the shut off valve was located under the 1/2 bath sink. Found a shut off valve, but don't believe it supplies the water to the ice maker.
