New from Vancouver, USA

Just bought a new Forest River 268RKS. I haven't picked it up yet, but wanted to get started learning the basics. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

Welcome Fyr. We bought our 2015 268RKS last Feb. Have done heavy duty atv/camping out of Ukiah, OR and two six weeks trips in OR, NV, CA, & AZ so its been put to the test. A few minor issues that were addressed at the dealership and some tweaks here and there (see previous threads regarding the VIBES for a lot of good info). A great trailer, very comfortable and if ya'll like to cook the kitchen is best layout we've seen in any RV.

If purchased from Curtis Trailer in PDX they will give you a very thorough familiarization (some parts I videod with phone which came in handy later), offer a free 'owners workshop', and free first year winterizing.

BTW we live north of ya' up here in Amboy. Enjoy!
