New from Washington

Hello,

Well I'm living in central Washington, looking to buy a TT very soon. We are looking foward to enjoy the outdoors. Going to be camping where I can launch my boat at. We have to take two vehicles to get everything there, but such is life. We live 5 min from the Wenatchee river and the samon fishing is great. My boat is a 20' aluminum weld stryker just got it last year. I'll post some pics and update my profile as soon as I get the TT. I've been doing a lot of reading and research and this form has been extremly helpful.

Thanks to all. I look forword to everyone's post and responses, good reading.

Sincerely the wife, 3 kids and myself

Welcome to FRF.

the DW is from Skagit County and we almost bought retirement property on Lake Chelan.
her sister owns businesses in Winthrop and Leavenworth. she has a place on Chelan that we visit often.
flew into Wenatchee last August to attend a wedding.

lots of helpful people here. when asking for advice, be sure to post what you'll be towing with, with all the specs.

There are racks to load a boat/trailer onto the bed of a pickup. Makes a good way to haul with one vehicle.

Hello Donn,

I have seen a truck around town that has that set up, but unfortunetly my boat is way to big and heavy, its even longer then my Avy. But it's all good, camping is not far for us to get too only about an hour, just past Leavenworth.

Maybe you should consider a motorhome that could tow your boat trailer? We aren't boat/fishing types, but our 32' Gerogetown could handle a boat on a trailer no sweat, if the total weight was < 5000 pounds..
