Thank you for the info. It's too bad, as the 14FK ticks most of my other requirements.

New Geo Pro 19FD owners
My wife and and I became owners of a 2017 Geo Pro 19FD two days ago. Our first tow with it was a dream! It towed so well with no special hitch or sway bar. It has all the features we wanted in compact size trailer.

What vehicle do you tow it with?

Picked up my new Geo Pro 19FBS two weeks ago and towed it over 2000 miles. Mine is equipped with the solar package w/two batteries, DC TV, Convection Microwave, Power Awning, Bike Rack, Off-Road Package and much more. It's pretty much loaded.
Departing from the dealership, I left the plumbing winterized, as I was going to spend some time in New England with below freezing night temperatures. It towed well and was very comfortable with the furnace running at night. For smoother towing, I disabled the traction control on my SUV. The solar panels kept the batteries topped off nicely.
So far so good!

I pull our Geo Pro 19FD with a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a 5.3L V-8. Best pull trailer I have ever towed. It followed as well as 5th wheel trailers I’ve owned.

I went to the RV show, thinking I would be purchasing the R-Pod I had been researching. Instead, I signed a "order of intent" for a Geo Pro G17RK! Anyone have one of these yet?

You made an excellent choice. The Geo Pro is the next step up in quality, standard/optional equipment and size from the R-Pod. While the later is an excellent product for its segment, in my opinion the Geo Pro/e-Pro represent an even better value for the money, provided that your tow vehicle can handle the slight increase in weight/width. As a person who is slightly over 6'2" in height, the slightly wider Geo Pro (7' vs 6.5") has a longer bed area which fits me much better. In addition, the shape of the front and rear of the Geo Pro/e-Pro are more squared off, which gives you considerably more interior head room in the front and rear. For my needs, the Geo Pro is the perfect size. What do you think?

I agree with Daddio. The squared off-ness is much more comfortable. We looked at the R-pods and Jayco Hummingbird and didn’t like the lack of headroom at the front and rear in an already limited space.

The additional room and storage was a big draw. You mention tow capacity, and that is on my mind. This would be my first trailer. I have a 2015 4Runner, which is a V6 and rated for 4700 lb towing. When I started this venture, I was looking at the smallest thing I could get by with. Now I have "scope creep" and wonder if I have bitten off more than I can comfortably chew?

Personally, I've owned two 4Runners. That vehicle is a real truck so you should be just fine with a 3000/3800# camper, just watch your tongue weight. Your trailer will have two grey tanks, so be careful not to tow with them too full. If you have any trouble getting your 4Runner level, use a weight distribution hitch and/or air helper springs. You should enjoy your 4Runner/Geo Pro rig very much.

Hi - when you attached the table with the Lagun mount were you able to lower it to make the bed?

Yes, the table slides off the mounting base and then you can set into place.

Geo pro quality
Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum. I will be purchasing a 19fbs geo pro in a few weeks. However, im concerned about the quality. For those that have a Geo Pro, how do you like it? How long have you owned it? Have you had any issues with it? Have you had a warranty issues yet? I look forward to hearing your responses!
Thanks in advance,
Elizabeth

Have you actually been in one?
I have and was impressed with the fit and finish for such a small TT.

Yes I have been in one. They are very nice, but would like to hear from those that own one to see if they’ve had any issues. Thanks!

Well since they just came out last year, there won't be any long term owners.

Check out “Geo Pro Adventures “ on You Tube. A couple with a 19FBS has many videos of their 6000 mile travels with it. Most are of places gone to, but several cover the attributes of the trailer.

How do you like it so far? I just ordered the same exact TT as you, except I added the oven with the stove, wanted a oven for boon-docking, went to a 32" TV, added a power tongue jack, a 1300 watt AC inverter and outlets. I am also thinking about adding a rear camera. I am going tow it with a Rubicon JKU with weigh distribution jack. It well serve as my base camp in Colorado trips. How is it so far, what is the good and bad of the trainer ? Any update is appreciated.
