New Guy

Hello to all,
Just purchased a used '04' Flagstaff 5th wheel. Sold my Sringdale TT with no slide and got this unit with a slide. My wife and I have gone head over heals into the camping world and can't get away enough. I bought the TT a few years back sold it this fall and found the 5th wheel. This unt has some water damge and is need of some repair, but I knew that going in, I had to tear into my TT and make some repairs so I am not unfamiliar with how these units are put together. Plus making some good freinds at my local RV repair shop sure helps. I look forward to this repair and sharing with all.
Thanks,
Craig

Thanks for the welcomes,
We are NE of Atlanta, Most of our trips have been to the North GA. mountains. We like checking out different areas, we also frequent NC. and took our first beach trip last summer. So many places so little time.

Welcome to the forum. I have no interest in rebuilding a camper - more power to you for working through the water damage with a smile on your face!

I can appreciate that, we just had oldest daughter married in Oct. of '12' and the youngest daughter is getting married this May, so finding a camper for cheap and doing the work myself is about all we can do for now. This not be our last camper we just wanted one with a little more room.
