Not new to camping but new to owning my own rv and a 5th wheel toy hauler at that.
My girlfriend and I are in the middle of purchasing a Columbus 3400TH. We have both grown up camping. I grew up in a slide in and she grew up in everything from a van with a mattress to a 5th wheel.
We are getting a toy hauler so we can take my Harley with us. We will be towing it with my 08 crew cab super duty. I'm having a pull rite superglide installed as well as airbags.
We liked the floor plan of the viper 305V12 but couldn't find one local. I wanted to wait till next year and keep on looking. We stopped at the dealer with the Columbus and fell in love with it. It is a 2013 leftover so a nice chunk was taken off the list price. That convinced me to go for it. We pick it up on Good Friday.
Hoping to learn more about my 5th wheel and hopefully help someone down the road.
Occasionally I hope to be taking my 73y/o father with us. Maybe either the Gf's son and his wife or one of my daughters. It comes with the dinette/ double bunk in the garage area. Other than that it will just be a garage for now. When we retire in 10-15 years maybe a craft room and laundry.

Welcome to the forum!
Gosh - that's looks big! You should have plenty of room for everything including guests.
