New Guy from Tomball, TX

Howdy all. I am new to the forum, but hardly new to RVs. We just ordered a Puma 295BHSS that is due to be delivered the first week of March. We are getting the 10th Anniversary Package, so it will be a little different than the typical Puma. This will be our first Fiver, coming from a 27', no slide Wildwood Travel Trailer. I have a wife, 2 young kids and 2 Labrador Retrievers, so the extra space in the new rig will be very much appreciated. We are definitely excited to get the rig. Any issues with Puma's that I should watch out for? Does anyone have any experience with their tires? It seem every rv we have had came with crap tires and I end up replacing them fairly quickly (I have had great experiences with Maxxis 8008). Thanks!

Cheers!

Welcome... I used to live just northwest of FM1488 and I-45 in Carriage Hills. T-Ball was a small part of my large (New Orleans to Sweetwater) territory. I'll be just south of Crosby flying in a model sailplane contest the last weekend in March. I enjoyed everything about living there... except the traffic... Great stuff working with Scouting...

Enjoy!

Welcome to the FR forums. congrats on the new Puma, looks like a nice unit. We recently took delivery on a 8289WS and are told it came with the crap tires. After close to 2500 miles they are still OK but I do keep a very close eye on them. "C" rated and at there max capacity. I understand they ship out all there RV's this way, watch them close till you decide to upgrade them.
