Slipf18 we are in Orlando also. We are in the UCF area. Been camping for about 2.5yrs. We have been to 8 of Florida's State Park and will be hitting more in the year to come. Payne's Prairie is on our list. Wife is a grad of UF. Headed out Wed. to Manatee Hammock a Brevard County Park in Titusville. Just wanted to get a trip done in Jan.

I'm in Florida too. We're about an hour and a half from Orlando. Not far from Ocala.

Hello and welcome to the Forest River Forums! Please do post any questions you may have. Lots of good reading can be found here on the different forums especially the ones with mods ideas.

Welcome Kari and the Gang. We are camping at Manatee Hammock for the week 2-9 Jan. Next trip is Collier-Seminole in March.
Maybe we Fla. people need to try and do a group trip sometime. We have 2 Norwegian Elkhounds and try to get out once a month for a week. Feb. we will be staying home in Orlando since Kris my wife will be doing some consulting work.

Keep in touch here or private email. We are also on Facebook and in the RV Tips, Camping and RVing with Pets, RV Meetups, and Debi's RV Cooking Groups. All have some great members and good ideas for RVing.

Couple this group with those and you can get most any question answered.
