New Guy in NC!

Hey everyone my name is Eddie Johnson and I live in Asheboro, NC with my wife and daughter. Yesterday (3/16/11) we purchased our first camper,
a 31ft 99 Sierra BH and even though we ended up with a few surprises the camper dealership either slipped or attempted to slip over on us we are pleased to own it and can't wait to get it cleaned up and hit the road.

Being new to camper ownership I was pleased to find this Forest River Forum and look forward to meeting and learning from the veteran campers on here.

Thanks, EJ

Welcome

I am in NC too, just south of Raleigh. If you are in Asheboro, you should try out Zooland Family Campground, it's very nice.

Great to have you aboard. We live just SE of Monroe, NC. You have found a great site where people share a wealth of knowledge about camping and campers.

Thanks Everybody! I haven't had time until now to get back on! I have been fighting "Black Streaks" on that big box I purchased and at the moment the streaks are winning! If I didn't like the camper so much I have half a mind to take it back to the #@#%^& dealership I bought it from!!! Just ordered some Steak-X, Sure hope that cuts it?

to the forum & congrats on the new-to-you camper!

May you have many happy miles with it!

As for the black streaks, Amazon sells Black Streak Removers...here's one example.

Greetings from the Smoky Mountains! Nice camper and Welcome. Now you need to get out and explore...there are a ton of great places to camp within NC, especially our neck of the woods.
