Well after a few years of dreaming, building my business, and putting my wife through what seemed like 10yrs of school, we did it.......

With the help of all the great posts, opinions, and advice i found on this forum, we decided on a 2012 lacrosse 318bhs touring as our very first 'adventure abode'!!!

Heading to pick it up from dealer next week! They are installing a weight dist/anti sway husky hitch. What else should i take for delivery/pickup ( besides the check to pay them) lol???

Anything specific i should look for on pdi? ( besides what i have read on various pdi checklists)

Anyone know diff between model i picked and 2013 model?....looked at a 2013 at another dealer, and i couldent really tell much?

Anyway, great to be here, cant wait to get out there and 'rv'ing'

Congrats and welcome... sounds like you've been doing your homework. I would suggest you continue to visit the forum and ask Q's... folks are only too happy to help... lots of wisdom (or at least willingness to share what not to do)... ha!

In addition, you can do a search on the forum in case your questions were previously discussed. Don't forget to use YouTube... lots of demonstrations in case you are a visual learner or simply forgot something after PDI.

Don't worry if you don't have stocked with everything available... you'll figure what you need/want pretty quickly after your first trip such as a patio mat, surge protector, etc.

Thanks, been reading as much as i can, so i know what dumb things to try and NOT do, and how to fix any dumb things i MIGHT do!...lol...cant wait!
