New Guys from Tallahassee

Hello All:

My wife and I recently bought a 2016 Cedar Creek 36CKTS and a 2015 GMC Denali Duramax 2500 to ramble this vast country of ours. I'm a newbie to forums but have recently been reading a few relevant posts. We are somewhat experienced tent campers so we're not new to camping but decided to take the plunge to a "bigger unit". We plan on retiring this year and we are going on a long trip to Colorado in July so I'll be asking folks about experience with hauling a fiver thru the mountain roads out west. We've been out about a dozen times mostly in the really nice state parks in North Florida and South Georgia.

Anyway I thought I'd introduce ourselves and get this ball rolling.

Looking forward to the good times ...

Welcome Rango! You sure didn't take any baby steps, going from a tent to Cedar Creek! You should do fine out west, just stick to the main routes.

Welcome from Pennsylvania. Enjoy your trip to Colorado. Colorado has some very nice National Parks especially Mesa Verde in southern Colorado and Rocky Mountain National Park north of Denver. I will be passing through southern Colorado in July on my way to Tucson, Arizona.
