Hello everybody. I bought a 2016 Salem Hemisphere 356RLBH about a year ago and love it. We have taken it cross country when we moved from Washington to North Carolina. I have stalled this forum for information before but didn't join until now. This picture was taken in Wyoming somewhere between Cody and Cheyenne. Click image for larger version

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Seems like we have quite a few from NC here. I live in Cary and have been looking for some great places to take the family in the 5er. Since we got here in August we have only been up to Williamsburg, VA and a few trips locally. Any suggestions on must see locations in NC?

Mayberry Campground in Mt Airy , Yogi Bear in Marion, Yogi Bear in Natural Bridge, VA Pirate Land in Mytle Beach, SC. Are some places we went to last year since me and DW just started out on the journey to finding our AWAY[emoji2].
The 2 Yogi Bear campgrounds and Pirate Land are great fun with the grandkids in season. Mayberry great quite time with DW for us we discovered the 1st season. Eagerly awaiting for this season to get cranking.
The joy of being able to go is sometimes more than reaching your destination[emoji4]

New Here

Welcome to North Carolina and to the forum. Some great places here. If you like the beach lots of options from the outer banks down to myrtle beach. In the outer banks we like Camp Hatteras in Wave NC if you can get the ocean front sites. Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach is great. But very busy in the summer. Lots of great places in the mountains. Grayson Highland park in Va. is great. You can hike with the wild ponies. If you like to ride bikes there are two fun options - near Grayson is the Creeper Trail which is almost all down hill and there is the New River Trail State Park - by Fries Va. and the Fries New River RV Park is very close. Asheville is also great in the summer and fall. We like Creekwood Farm RV campground. It is near both Asheville and Smoky Mountain Park.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm originally from SC and grew up camping at MB so I'm familiar with just about every campground down there. We have actually already made our reservations at Lakewood for the week of 4th of July. I'll have to check out some of these others though.
