Smile New kid on the block

I'm a new owner (since Tuesday) of an Apex Nano 189 RBS. We "officially" retired last July and momma and I decided that it was time to do a little traveling while our health and bank account were both in good enough shape to permit it. I retired after 34 years with the Postal Service and 10 years of double dipping as a contractor for ECS Federal. If you know the postal service or Norman OK I taught at the USPS National Center for Employee Development for most of those years. Marge spent many years as a preschool teacher in a mother's day out program. She's a saintly woman to put up with 2 year olds and me (not much difference).

We've both been through life threatening illnesses and came through okay so we decided that it was time to see some places on our bucket list before somebody makes enjoying yourself illegal.

We owned a pop up back in the 80s and its exciting to get back into the RV life style. The Nano tows great behind my rather low end 02 Dodge Ram 1500. I'm in the process of adding nice power reclining buckets to the truck as the OEM seats were pretty tough. The truck's mileage is lousy but all the gas I'll buy is still cheaper than a new pickup.

We'll get the rig out in a week or three for our first shakedown cruise. After that our first long trip will be back to eastern Pennsylvania for a family reunion at the beginning of June.

All the best to everybody.
