New Legacy owner

Wanted to give credit to Mitch Wirt and his entire team at Forrest River. Just spent three days at the factory as they did a fantastic job addressing all my issues on our new Legacy. Great RV and great support

Congratulations on the new rv. I would be interested in your feedback of the legacy. Thinking about downsizing from my berkshire.

Compared to the Berkshire it is more agile as in easier to drive because it is smaller by 4 ft. It is actullaly quicker and I am averaging over 10 mpg. Other than that the Berkshire has more amenities from the models I drove when at the plant. How old is yours and what model is it?

That's ok. I am looking forward to feedback with the legacy and also to see if the will add other floor plans as time goes on. Even with the berkshire I want to see if they change the floor plans. When everything is working the units are great. And the factory has really stepped up to the plate to make sure deficiencies are corrected and that the units are safe. Once again congratulations and enjoy.

We too have been interested in this new Legacy. Can you explain some of the problems you experienced and give some insight about what you like and don't like regarding overall build of the coach and fit and finish?

We have been looking at the 340BH model and have been considering a Thor Palazzo 33.3 bunk and a Sportscoach 361BH bunk.

Thanks for your help!

Question: we have been tailgating a lot with our new Legacy. I concerned I am pilling up too many hour on the generator. I am curious as to what is considered an average amount of hours on generators per year for trade in purposes?

I attended a rv class in Syracuse this past summer and the instructor told us he turns his generator on when he starts up and does not turn it off until he reaches his destination and plugs into shore power. Since then I run my generator all the time while traveling for heat or air. They are commercial units meant to be used. Enjoy.

Forest river website has added a 3rd legacy with a rear bath but it is a couple of feet longer.
