Hi Folks;
We are Bob and Alice Hickernell of Grasonville, Md. and as of a few months ago the owners of a 30 foot, 2006, Rockwood ultralight. We hope to tow it with a F-150 which we bought new in 2009, at the time we did not anticipate towing so heavy a load but we think it will work. I've towed the TT a few times to see how it handled and the temps stayed in the good range.
We plan to head for Florida on 1/1/13 in the late AM and rest for a few hours in Geo. or S. Carolina. We're thinking Walmart near Rt 95, we're going to call ahead to make sure they allow parking for about 6 hours.
We have a reservation for January at Zachery Taylor RV Park near Lake Okeechobee and Sunseekers in February near Fort Myers. Sometime in March we'll return home. We're looking forward to making many new friends in the RV community.
