Hello, I look forward to being a 2014 Rockwood HW296 owner rather soon. I am an avid tent camper, my wife, 3 daughters, and I are ready to step up to a pop-up. We love the experience of being outside and figure this will still give us that. The added conveniences will extend our camping season. I live in California and I am currently testing the market to see what kind of pricing I can haggle down on this trailer, but I will travel out of state if the price is right. Looking to get one that is loaded to the gills and through perusing the site have already started making a list of essential upgrades. I look forward to all the input this site will give me and hope to contribute as well. As with everything I own including my house, LEDs will be the first order of business, I can hardly remember what incandescent light looks like ;-). I have never owned a recreational vehicle before however my parents had a Lindy RV growing up. My current tow vehicle is a 2013 Ford Flex SEL it has the N/A V6 with intake and a programmer. I am currently leasing it but will be upgrading to the Ecoboost version next. Thank again in advance for all the helpful info.

Welcome to the forum. Those high wall popups are very nice! We bought a hw Fleetwood popup many years ago and loved it. We've since moved on to a hybrid, then TT, now a 5th wheel, but nothing compares to that wide open feeling only a pup can provide.
