Thanks for the welcome guys. I am 43 yrs old my wife is 41 and we have a daughter 13 we also have a border collie lab mix family dog that enjoys camping as much as we do. We had a KZ Spree 29 ft with an 18" slide on one side prior to our unit we have now. We bought the unit we have now in september 2007 new, it is a Flagstaff 831BHSS 31 ft. from sunrise rv in shepherdsville ky. We were pulling with a 06 expedition , a 08 f150 both with 5.4 just traded about 3 weeks ago for a f250 2010 power stroke. Pulling with this I sometimes have to look back to make sure the trailer is still back there its a major pulling difference.I am a field mechanic for a forlift/construction equipment company. We have 1 indiana state park campground and two indiana county parks all less than 30miles from the house. We also have several campgrounds close by in ky,rough river state park ,green river , nolin lake ,mamoth cave, two different jelly stone parks, and koa campgrounds and several independent campgrounds. Once again thanks for the welcome. Roger

Welcome Peanut! Like you a co-worker of mine was pulling his Sierra 5er with an F150 and although it "did it" he was always worn out at the end of the day of travelling. He just found a great deal on a 2 year old F350, QC superduty diesel and says the difference is incredible. He now is confident with the setup and arrives relaxed.
Nice to have you here...

Yeah, it rules the space it takes up in the repair shop.
6.0L doesn't have a good reputation.
No offense intended.

No offense taken Mike.
My 2003 has run flawlessly for 8 years.
I am the only one that touches it and does all the maintenance on it.
Maybe that's why mine runs so well.
