Hello, our family (Dad, Mom, and 5 kids) have been RV'ing since my wife and I bought our first pop-up in 1999. We now have a 2006 27 ft. Trail Vision TT but after a weekend of rain at the campground we have decided that we have definately outgrown this one
.
Right now 2 of the kids sleep on the floor and the other 3 fight for space on the jack knife sofa and the booth. Plus we are all over each other when we try to watch a movie or just hang out.
We camped at least twice every month over the last 2 summers in this trailer, and we took it on a 3 week trip to the Black Hills, SD this past year. So we are confident that this camping thing isn't just a passing fancy - time to move up in class!!
We have found a 2008 LA 312QBBS near us that looks to be in great condition. We love the fact that the kids could have their own room and the outside bathroom entrance looks great! It also has an outside storage thing that dad loves
. Our tow vehicle is a deisel Ford Excursion so the weight doesn't concern me. Though I have to admit that at 35'6" v/s the 27' we have now I am a bit concerned over backing into camp spots.
Anything particular to this model that I should pay attention to when I go look at this thing? Any ideas would be great.
By the way, this looks to be a very good site and discussion forum. I'm looking forward to looking around.
Thanks,
