New Member From Michigan

Hello to all...I have been reading the posts in this forum for a few weeks with great interest and decided to join. Looking forward to being part of this very knowledgeable and helpful community.

My wife and I are retired and new to RV'ing, having purchased a Prime Time Tracer 2670 BHS last month. We absolutely love our Tracer and have been able to enjoy it, even though the season is winding down. We hope to have many years of travel with our Grandchildren.

Looking forward to participating...

We're in the Brighton/Howell area and have enjoyed using the Bishop Lake Campground in the Brighton Recreation area. That was the first place we tried with our new trailer...just to make sure that everything worked. Our Grandchildren had a nice time during the summer swimming, fishing and camping. After reading your post, I looked at the Lake Haas website. It sure looks like a nice place. Hope you enjoy your new Columbus.

I wish we didn't have to winterize..These Michigan winters sure seem to be getting longer and I'm getting older.

I wish we could have had a travel trailer when our Sons were growing up. I'm sure they would have enjoyed it. You're right about memories with the grandkids...sure is great to see their smiles!

Oh it is for sure BUT, last winter you guys had it pretty good. It was cooler in AZ then it usually is and much warmer here then past winters. Wonder what this year will bring..we'll be watching from AZ.

I drove a semi all over Mi. for 30 years regardless of the weather, so I've had my share if ice covered roads and blowing snow. Yes it's nice to be out of here and everyone reading this I hope you get a chance to retire and head out of here in the winter. It's a relaxing feeling.

Another from a fellow Michigander.

Have you tried Bruin Lake State Park near Pinckney?

I feel your pain. I find I'm actually a little depressed about closing it up. I haven't slept at home but twice since taking delivery in April. The only thing that helps is we are leaving for a couple of weeks in Florida Oct. 9th.

We like Bishop Lake as well. We especially like the upper camp area.

We were able to spend some time at the Bishop Lake Lower camp ground. They had a couple of nice pull through sites that made it a little easier for me since I'm new at this!

Hope you enjoy Florida!!
