Hey folks,

Thought I'd pop in a say hello! This will be my 4th year of camping with my now 10 year old twins (a boy and a girl. ) My 69 y/o mother also joins us often which is nice and makes many great memories for all. We like to stick mostly to the state parks to pretty much alleviate the possibility of the kids getting ran over while bike riding from teenagers on golf carts. Plus, I never tell the kids what our camping destination is in advance, so they always have to wait in anticipation!! Haha. Makes for fun trips with their excitement of wondering where we will end up!

Started off with an old 24' dutchmen the 1st year as I didn't want to spend much in case the kids didn't care for the camping scene. Didn't take long to realize how much they enjoyed it as we camped roughly 60 nights that 1st year!

Upgraded to a 30' Wildwood w/2 slides for 2 years. What a difference with the extra room!! But there were still some things on my "want" list with this unit...

Anyways, fast forward to today. I decided to order a new travel trailer as a gift for the whole family right before Christmas. After researching for almost a year of what I wanted, I pulled the trigger on a 2019 Palomino Puma 32bhdb with the exact options I was after. It should be here in mid March... I think I'm more excited than a kid in a candy store!!

So, I figured that while I wait for it to arrive (and for it to actually get nice enough to camp in northern Indiana), I'd do some checking on here about any tips/potential issues/ideas that I can use for the upcoming season.

That's my story! Happy camping to all, and maybe we'll see ya if you happen to wander into our neck of the woods!!

Kris
