Welcome from Wisconsin. First mods I did when we had our hybrid was solar blankets over the tent ends and Reflectix in the bunk windows. Really helps with keeping the heat/cool air in.

If you post your model and year, you may get more feedback on mods and issues.

Here are some other good mods:

Fence post for stinky slinky (sewer hose)
Propane cover window (so you can see regulator with bunk open)
Digital Thermostat (temps will swing wildly with the analog version)
