Hello All,
Just traded in my 2007 5th Wheel Dutchman Tundra 27RL-M5 on a 2010 Wildwood 23FBS travel trailer. The 5th wheel was getting too big to maintain. The Wildwood is 5' shorter and 2 1/2' lower and weighs 2,000 lbs less. Already waxed it, much easier.
My wife (47 wonderful years together) and I enjoy camping and have been to 41 of our 50 beautiful states. We've been retired since December 2009 and have taken 2 extended trips. The first was 3 1/2 months in 2010 and totaled 14,000 miles, the second was 6 weeks in 2012 and totaled 6,000 miles. All together we have traveled about 30,000 miles since 2007 and enjoyed every minute.
We'll take our first excursion in the "new" Wildwood in about 3 weeks and know we will enjoy.
I've enjoyed reading all the posts and have had many questions of my own answered even though I haven't asked any. I'm sure I'll have some.

Welcome from SoCal! If you don't mind me asking, where are you going for your first trip in the new trailer?

Hi Terier,
Going to one of my favorite local spots, Yucaipa Regional Park, only 40 miles from home. Nice big sites and right on the outskirts of Yucaipa.

I haven't been there yet but I heard it pretty similar to Prado Park in the Ontario/Chico area.

BTW going by your profile we are almost neighbors. Maybe our paths will crossed while camping some day. I also like Cottonwood campground @ Rancho Jurupa in Riverside (60 & 15 freeways).
