New Member from Southwest VA.

Hello from the Mountains of Beautiful Southwest VA. I just ordered a new 2015 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8315BSS Travel Trailer today. This will be my first Forest River product. I have owned several RV's over the years, from Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, Jayco and R Vision. 5th. wheels and travel trailers. Of all the floorplans that I have owned, my favorite has always been a front kitchen rear bedroom. FR is about the only Mfr. that offers this floorplan today. I always have to order everything that I buy because I like every option and then some. I ordered the Diamond package, Convenience package E and every option available. I was even able to get FR to add two Coleman Mach 8- 15k AC's instead of the Coleman Mach 3 - 15k and 13.5k AC's that they offer. Can you believe that! I am also getting the dealer to install two 6 volt batteries instead of the usual 12 volt and I am replacing the "Chinese" load C rated tires with "American" load range D tires before I ever pick it up! When I load this thing down and my Wife and I head out thru the South West at 70 MPH, the last thing that I want to worry about is blowing a tire! I hope that we will enjoy this trailer and this forum.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new Rockwood! With the maximum speed limit here in SoCal being 55 mph while towing I can't image doing 70. Just too fast for my comfort level but I know it's different elsewhere.

Thanks Everyone!

A big ole Thank You to everyone for the warm welcome! I won't receive my trailer until about the first of July. My Dealer is going to pick the trailer up himself instead of waiting on FR to deliver it. He said that sometimes waiting for a unit to be delivered can add as much as four weeks to the time. There is a severe shortage of drivers. I was told that there is somewhere around 35 thousand RV's sitting in IN waiting to be delivered! When I do receive my trailer I will post pictures. Thanks and Hello again!
