Smile New member from Texas

Hello all. Been on other forums for a while and stumbled across this one. Looks very interesting, especially since I just got a new 2010 Sierra 355QBQ. I'm looking forward to catching up on all the good reading here and learning all I can about the Sierra.

We live west of Austin, Tx in the Texas Hill Country. DW, 16 yr old son and me. We go mostly to State Parks and Corps Parks.

We owned a 2008 Jayco 291RLTS from late '07 to Feb '10, when we decided to go bigger and get the 355QBQ. We love it!!

Thanks for puttin' out the welcome mat, and we look forward to seein' you out campin'!!

Mark

Welcome to FRF, like you said there is lots of good reading here!!....We live over in Houston and really enjoy getting over your way as much as we can as the parks seem more plentiful and much nicer, especially Garner SP, if you havent been there yet it's a MUST!!

Finally got around to getting some pics, so I wanted to share them.

We love the new outdoor kitchen, and having the rear bunk-room with the half bath is great since we often have 6 to 10 people with us.

It's funny...we bought the Jayco, because we thought it would be just the two of us MOST of the time. But in the 2+ years since then, it has been just the two of us ONLY ONCE!! It's like they can hear you hooking up for miles around!! But, we really do enjoy have a big group with us which is why we wanted to get the bigger Sierra.

Thanks,
Mark

Hey that's cool. What I need is a setup like this but with shop tools and a bench for fixing my Jeep in the field.

I really like your camper i noticed at a RV show that the outdoor kitchen is getting very popular in some model i like that feature i would use it all the time.I also noticed at the show that an outside door to the bathroom was on a lot of models kinda handy to have if having a lot of people. Thanks for sharing your picture

Thank you very much.

Yes it does have the second door right to the rear 1/2 bath. Very nice so there's no tracking thru the coach to go.
