New Member from Washington DC

Hi all, Im not new to the RV scene as i had a 2008 Springdale, and then upgraded to a 2009 Fourwinds TT. I am however new to the FR family as I am trading in my Fourwinds and just purchased a 2013 FR Sierra 365SAQ. I am new to fifth wheel towing but hear it is much better. Hope to see you all on the road.

Thank you!!!!! I unfortunately already paid for my new rig but will not trade out for another 2 weeks. Very much so looking forward to a bit more room as we are full timers right now. Do you have any insight on the 365SAQ that I should know about? As I said originally, I do not know much about the 5er as I have only ever had Travel Trailers. The one I bought is pretty basic (no second air, etc.) but I did get the new version with the outside entertainment center. Any suggestions on other additions I should make? I know im thinking adding the washer/dryer, second air, leveling system, air bags for my truck, etc. just dont know what order I should focus on first LOL

My experience is limited to a TT but there's a section on the forum for fifth wheels. I would recommend posting your questions there so members with 5ers can provide feedback.

I can feel your excitment about your new unit! Bet the next two weeks can't come soon enough for you. Feel free to post pictures.

Welcome Shawn. We are a nearby neighbor in Bowie.Bought our first fiver back in Sept. 2011 and have been very pleased with it.Made by a new company under the Forest River umbrella-Prime Time RV.As far as towing goes,it's great. However the backing it up procedure at least IMHO takes a little getting use to since it was TT's before that.As stated this is a great site to hang out in and find helpful info for any issues that may arise, and most folks here are pretty friendly.

Well hello neighbor Always nice to meet someone close by. As of right now we are in Lorton, VA camping in our TT before we go out to Ohio to pick it up. As I am purchasing out of the area, do you have any suggestions on dealers for warranty work in the area? I know most dont have to service ones they dont sell so looking to see if you might know a dealer who is friendly to out of state people. I am not technically a resident in the area so I can always claim to the dealer that im transient through as my rigs and cars are registered in Alaska.
