Hello, Yesterday (6-15-2013) I traded my 2002 Aero Cub for a, new, 2013 Micro-Lite 23LB. Like buying a new car, buying a new and different RV from what I've been used to requires a bit of a learning curve. I've been reading and studying many threads on this forum and have found a lot of useful information in just a day and a half. I'm looking forward to reading many more threads, expanding my knowledge of Forrest River RV products and what makes them tick.

This week I'll do a "dry run" set-up in my yard, testing and trying most components on my Micro-Lite. And then in two weeks I'll do my "shake down" trip with a race weekend at Watkins Glen.

Welcome to the forum! Our shakedown trip went very well with our new mini-lite, due in no small part to DW's excellent assistance. Everything worked!
Norm
P.S. Once we are more comfortable, we're looking forward to trips to NY state and Pennsylvania.

Thanks for the warm welcome and kind words. Nammy, I'm glad your shake down trip went well. That gives me added confidence that all will be good on my new Micro-Lite. But I always take the tool box and duct tape, just in case.

Mark

Indymule, thanks for the welcome. I see you have the same model as I do. It's nice to see you are enjoying your Micro-Lite. And so far I like mine.

WoW! Wiscampsin your 5th Wheeler looks as big as a house! That is one beautiful camper. I can only hope maybe some day I'll have a RV like yours (along with a truck with muscle enough to tow it.)

Watkinsglen is a beautiful area, nestled amongst the Finger Lakes. Welcome to FR and the forums. Don't be fooled by the politeness. Some of these guys eat their young!
