Cool New member...Hi to all... need help (other than psychiatric) ;)

Hello to all!

We are kind of new to RVing. We owned a 30' FEMA trailer (I know...it SEEMED like a good idea at the moment...lol), which we sold last year. Now, we are sorta retired, and looking at a 2009 FR Surveyor SVT250. It is in a local dealership's lot, and appears very clean.
Thing is, I can't find anything about this model on the Interweb, and I don't know if $11k is a reasonable price, or not. What do I look for? Anyhelp / tips for a newby?
Thank you, in advance for your advice and counsel, and I will pay it forward, when it's my turn...

Best,
Bill

Thank you, Hamm123! That was very helpful...now, how does one learn about specs, eg tank sizes, standard equipment vs options? THANKS!

An easy Google search for "2009 Surveyor brochure" brought up at least 2 pdf files to download.

get a "third baseman". industry term for somebody brought along that knows the product. reference to baseballs third base coach who sends the runner or not to home. they can help you decide whether or not to go home on a purchase.

Many thanks, to each of you, for your assistance! This exactly the information that I was having difficulty locating.
I hope that we can repay (or pay forward) the favor! Happy trails...

Isn't the Hurricane brand name part of Thor Industries, not Forest River?
