Good Day All!
Just joined the Forum after reading some of the posts every once in a while over the past few weeks.
I've got a question so I joined up today.
Though I have had RV's over the years (A gas and then a Diesel Motorhome, a trailer permanently on a lot and now a New 36' 5th Wheel for winter trips to warm weather), I've never run into this item before, probably because only one of the previous RV's had a slide out topper and that one was small.
When I purchased this unit I had the dealer install slide out toppers on all three of the slides in my New Crusader 321. I've discovered that the two large toppers pool several gallons of water on top of them. I've lowered the back of the coach a couple degrees to see if that would help it run off the back, but that doesn't help much. More than that will probably make the rig feel out of level.
Any suggestions on how to keep the water off the toppers?
At this point I go out and hook the back edge of the topper with a brush or a broom, pull it down a little and let the water drain off. This doesn't seem like a very elegant solution though. Does anyone have a better one?
