Thought I'd say hi and ask a question! My wife and I are looking seriously at a 2014 Palomino Solaire Eclipse 297 rlds, New.(Have only seen pics) Wondering if anyone has this model and pros/cons of it. We would have to travel several hundred miles to inspect it, then decide to purchase or not. Hate to put down a large deposit to dealer and not like the unit and lose the $$$$. Thanks for your help. We have been reading a lot on this forum and love it. The more Ideas the better!

We just purchased a 2015 Coachman Freedom Express Liberty Edition 297 RLDS it is similar. We looked for years to find the right size and floor plan we liked. We have had 8 different RV's and this is to be our retirement home. This was the best compromise we could find for what we liked. Our preference would have been to have the dinette table on the right side to look at our lot, not the neighbors. Also we preferred not to have a slide on the right side so you don't lose awning space when outside and we wanted a huge awning. We also wanted a full size queen bed and lots of closet space so the bedroom slide was a must. Just things to consider. Welcome and lots of luck. It is a very hard decision.
