Hello all, husband and I are old tent campers, bought our first RV, Wolf Pup 18to 2019, towing with a Nissan Titan. Excited about this new adventure kids are grown grandkids coming close to retirement. I am sure we will have alot of questions, etc.
Welcome from upstate NY. We went from tents to a pop-up and now in retirement; a very comfortable 5th wheel. All you have learned over the years applies to camping in your RV, it's just a heck of a lot easier on your back to wake up in a real bed. Enjoy and God Bless, Ken

Never Enough Time Camping!!
Welcome! We tent camped for 15 years before getting our first RV. I loved tent camping and look back on those years fondly but have no plans to go back.

I have been tent camping since the 1950s with no plans to quit. I really like having an RV for crummy weather, shoulder season and weeks like this one. It is snowing in the eastern Sierra for Memorial Day weekend at Mule Days. Having an RV appeals to my girl friend of 20 years. It is warm and snug. Camping with furniture.
I do not get the idea that people stop tent camping when they get an RV. You cannot take an RV to the best places.
Welcome! Our family also transitioned over from tents to RV but more so because we just had a newborn and we don't want to miss out on anything (my excuse)!
Very helpful forum and is not good for the wallet I've found so much more than I thought I needed here.
