New member returning to camping

We camped for several years in a tent then a pop-up. Ended up buying a cabin on a lake in northern Mi. After 17 years we just sold it and put a down payment on a Rockwood Windjammer 2809w. Picking it up after closing about 4 or 5 weeks. We would like to get it out and camp before winter for a shake down to see how much we forgot about camping and also see what we might need for the trailer. Our plan is to head for warmer weather during the winter. If all goes well with the get to know your trailer trip we might pack up and head south around the first of the year.
