New member with Apex 245bhs on order!

Good afternoon to everyone at the Forest River forums. I'd like to take a second and introduce myself. My name is Richard and my wife's name is Jennifer and this weekend we just purchased our first brand new trailer and we ended up with a Coachmen Apex 245 BHS.
We're very excited but the hard part is waiting for the spring thaw so we can pick it up at the dealership.

Now I've done a little research online and haven't found very many reviews or owners thoughts on this trailer. So if anyone here owns one of these trailers I'd like to hear how you like it or don't like it.

I'm very glad that I found this form because I have lots of questions and I'm also new to trailering with torsion bars.
I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone so let me just finish up by saying happy trails.

Welcome to the Coachmen Apex club!!

While I don't have your model, we do have the 269RBKS and since it's just mainly me and the wife, we think it's a great couples trailer.

You might want to try looking and posting in the Coachmen sub-forum for more info:

And I'm with you, hurry up Spring! I'm already tired of snow.....

Welcome from Michigan!! We picked up our 245bhs beginning of summer and can’t wait to use it. We are running an equalizer hitch 10k. Pulling the tt home in 30mph winds was no problem. On our last jayco we had the e2 hitch and that was great as well. They are a little tricky sometimes to get hooked up, but with practice you’ll be a pro in no time.
