As the title explains, I'm new to the Forest River Forums.
I'm not new to RV'n, both of my parents were into camping. My mom had a fairly standard travel trailer, my dad and grandparents each had a motor home.
Mom sold the trailer long ago, the grandparents along with their motor are long gone and my dad's motor home is rotting away in the mid-west.
Anyways, it was time for us to get a trailer of our own. Being a OHV guy, a toy hauler seemed to be the best choice. Being a RZR4 guy, the 26'+ models provided necessary sized cargo area. Being limited to 10,000Lbs by the tow vehicle had us between 26'-28' since anything past 28' was too heavy when loaded up.
This basically left us with little options. Nothing too small, but nothing too big (IE: $100,000+).
We picked up our 2015 Stealth WA2715 a few weeks ago. It's mostly optioned out with exception to the fiberglass and a few other things which weren't deal breakers by any means. Things like the large fridge, upgraded AC, TV/DVD, solar and extra water tank were the real wants/needs.
She'll be going in for some minor warranty work this Wednesday, but otherwise she's been great. She is leaking fresh water out of the supplemental tank, it seems, but basically everything else is cosmetic and nit picky.
Took her out for a few days to Duck Creek for some dry camping. No major problems to report and everything seemed to work. Did have to mess with the generator choke manually go get it going a few times, but I'm chocking that up to the altitude as it seems to run ok at the house.
I'm probably not going to be around too often, but may check in from time to time and ask some questions/perform some research.
