New members in Southeast Virginia

Hello, everyone! We have had our new Coachman Leprechaun 317 SA for about 9 weeks now. Been camping 4-5 times on weekends so far (not much time off from work for either of us. And not at the same time!)

We're looking at a Friday-Saturday trip to a military campground near Williamsburg in a couple of weeks - two whole days camping!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone and thanks for all the good advice and stories on the board.

Martha

Welcome! Enjoy your camping adventures. My wife and I enjoy camping in Virginia in both commercial and state park campgrounds. Virginia has a lot to offer.

That's such a great place! That was our second campground (and third trip) in the new coach. We stayed twice in Newport News Park, and then The Colonies. Had some really nice Sunday seafood brunch at the old Officer's Club (now a beach club and restaurant.) They require a two nights' reservation if it includes a weekend, and we had to wait for some vacation days.

We just came back from 1 night at a nice city park in Hampton called Gosnolds Hope Park. We were the only ones there all day Saturday and on Sunday until we left.
