New not quite owner yet

Hello everyone, I've been lurking for awhile gaining great knowledge, tips and tricks from the great people and threads I've been browsing. I figured it was about time I introduced myself. My name is Steve and I still haven't figured out what to get in terms of a trailer yet. I've got a wife and two young ones (5 and 2 1/2) and a third on the way in February. Anyways look forward to learning a lot more and picking brains along the way trying to decide what will work best for the family and budget of course. Happy camping to all those who are still able to.

Hi Steve and Welcome!!

First of all - congratulations on your upcoming child. We've got three ourselves and the oldest has been camping with us since 4 months old. Start 'em while they're young

Hope you find what you need for your camper decision. Lots of good information and collective wisdom on the forums. Of course, always feel free to post any questions you might have.

The BC in your user name stands for 'buying camper', right?

Welcome to the forums!

Thank you! Looking forward to having another little one again! Yes we also started ours young. Both my wife and I started quite young as well so I dare say it's in our blood. Just looking forward to getting off the ground and out of our tent .

You guys are awesome . I picked BC because I am a born and raised British Columbia boy. But apparently it can be used for a lot of situations lol, I love it

Welcome to the forum!

I just went through the whole research phase myself. A lil over a year of looking. It was for the most part fun and the folks on this forum are very helpful with advise.

Best of luck to you in your search!

Floorplan is very important. As you look at more units you should be able to narrow down the list a bit. Renting is another way to figure out what type of RV would work for your family.
