New Owner from NE Ohio

We are new owners of a 2014 Coachmen Clipper 17BH. We are moving up from a pop up, and before that many years of tent camping. I'm looking forward to the ease of setup with a travel trailer. Kids are looking forward to each having their own bed. There are many nice private campgrounds near us that we like to visit. Our favorite state parks are Salt Fork and West Branch. Looking forward to camping season already!

Ohio xlite, that's the reason we bought TT. I want to back in and relax. Lazy I guess. Lol. You live in NW Ohio. Have you been to East Harbor SP? We're thinking of going either Memorial Day or July 4th. Wife and I have been to Kellys Island. Looks like East Harbor might be a pretty crowded place, but it's right on Lake Erie.

Haven't camped at Geneva but the state park there is really nice. Good mix of things for the kids and adults to do in Geneva.

Geneva

We camped there last September. Beautiful SP. Small campground, but very nice and quiet. Nice beach. Lots to do in Geneva and the surrounding area.

burmik- congratulations on the new TT. It will add a whole new dimension of enjoyment to you camping trips. We like Salt Fork, too, and enjoy taking our grand kids there. Happy camping!

The 6504 was exactly what I was looking for! Love everything about it so far. Of course I haven't actually gone anywhere to give it a real shake down yet! The layout with the slide allowed us to have the room to get 4 of us in there, unlike our pop-up! Of course this thing is light years ahead of our 2002 pop-up!!!
