Good luck getting into New Brighton. They book fast.
Ditto on that! especially the few sites with hookups.
IMHO, the hardest NorCal state park to get reservations for.

Did not have any problem getting reservations at New Brighton State Beach Campground, but I guess we will be dry camping this first trip! At least I should be warm and comfortable sleeping! The last time we went tent camping in Tahoe, I was cold and uncomfortable on a cot and the darn bears kept trying to break into our bear locker!
