New owner in Fla.
Hi folks,
We are new owners of a 2011 Rockwood Premier 2516. I haven't camped in twenty odd years and the wife has never so we're relative newbies. Hoping to enjoy our retirement soon and wanted something easy to tow and roomy. So far we love it!

Welcome!  Many state parks here in Florida provide wonderful camping experiences!! We're heading up to Manatee Springs SP ourselves soon for a weeks' stay...While many of the members on this board are preparing their TTs and vehicles for a looooong winter's nap, (sigh  ), here in FL, we're just entering the best season to use our RVs. Yaaaay!! Enjoy...and smooth traveling!

Cold weather up north, but for us here in Florida when it gets below 70° , now that is winter for us.

Be sure to put Fort Pickens on your camp grounds list. I really like that place in the spring and summer. Beautiful beach. Another good one is Port St Joe. Very nice beach and very clean and modern showers. You will have a ball with this camper. I am on my second one. Be sure to ask if you have any questions. Randy Floyd

Mayport Naval Station RV park- 12/28-1/10, Adeaide RV Park, Avon Park, Fl 1/11-2/9, Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort and Campground, Mayo, Fl 2/10-2-16, then open 2/17-2/22 (most likely Pensacola, FL) and then head out to Louisiana for a couple of weeks. Check weather in Virginia, if cold we will stay where it is warm. I should check my calendar for any important meetings. Oh yea, retired.
