New owner in PA

Just purchased our 4th travel trailer but our 1st Forest River. It is a 2006 Cherokee lite 28C. Got a great deal on a very nice trailer. Our 1st with a slide. Have a few things to learn about it. Our last trailer was a 1984 so we are not used to all the conveniences that 22 years have brought. This one is much lighter than our last one and we hope to take it farther from home than we used to. The wife retired last year but I have a few years to go. We live in central PA and have limited our trips to less than 50 miles and hope to expand that. Open for suggestions to campgrounds that offer us quiet relaxing stays with areas for walking, biking and fishing.

Welcome from Wisconsin and congrats on your 2006 Cherokee lite 28C. You're going to love all the extra room the slide provides.

Congratulations on the new TT! I am sure you will find nice places to camp in central PA. My folks are from western PA and the state is beautiful. I wish I were closer. We vacationed there last May. Went to Gettysburg and Lancaster county, which we enjoyed very much.

Welcome from northeast PA. Try Promised Land SP in the northern Poconos.

Congrats and welcome to the FR family. Had a seasonal for Many years at Lake-in-Wood campground under previous owners. It was a wonderful place and I'm sure still is.
