New owners

Hi there! We are a family of five that just bought our first tent trailer this spring. It's a palomino elite with three slide outs. We live in Winnipeg, MB are looking forward to having lots of good times as a family camping!

Welcome and Congratulations on your Palomino !!! We both grew up with parents who took us camping in Tent Trailers ... your family will love the adventure.

One Rule ... Have Fun !!!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new trailer!!! We started out with a Starcraft trailer (wish it did have slides!) and some of our best camping memories were made with it. Pop ups are so easy to tow and can be set up pretty quickly as you gain some experience. If you are brand new to trailer camping I would highly suggest that you spend a few nights camping in your yard to see what you need to stock your trailer with - and what you have to go back into the house to get! Something as simple as a good can opener is easily missed when first stocking up. We bought a heated mattress pad off ebay and it is a definite must for a pop up in my opinion - our kids are still using it 10 years later in our hard side trailer (not sure if you know what it is but think of an electric blanket that goes under you instead of on top of you - google it and you'll see). Anyway this forum is a great resource so don't be afraid to ask a question - the only foolish question is the one not asked!!!
