Welcome neighbor! We live in Lyons.
I'm excited for you. We have some awesome camping in our beautiful state. Hitch that rig up and get out there!

We come thru Lyons on our way to RMNP. We previously pulled a 2005 Yukon Wilderness. You're right, we are sure spoiled here in CO. The camping is awesome and we have met some really great people. Happy Trails

Congrats on the new 5'er.
I know you and your family will enjoy it.
I have yet to camp in Colorado, but took a trip there when I was a kid and have taken my family twice. Beautiful scenery!
Good luck and happy camping!

I grew up in Philly, home of the Tastykake, now live in Colorado as well, but I never miss a chance to eat some when I go for a visit. They will ship them anywhere, by the way.

Sidenote:
I've never heard of them either until we ordered some grub from the "Taste of Philly" here in Greeley. Pretty tasty. I'm sure any T.o.P. carries them...but don't quote me on that.
BTW - Congrats on the new rig!
Joe

This is Tkcakes husband. We actually ordered the rig from LIberty RV in Liberty MO. RV america in Wheatridge had 2 Crusader on the lot, a 320 and the 270ret.
Neither of those was the model we wanted, but at least we were able to see the construction and interior appointments.

Thanks for the info....I did see that RV America handled the line. As I had a very bad experience with them, I'll go somewhere else as you did.

We didn't anticipate buying a trailer while at the show in Kansas, but the people at Liberty RV were so friendly and down to earth and gave us a price nearly $6000 less than RV america that we took the plunge.

Hello Colorado Tkcakes
Colorado is our summer spot Primarily Leadville. We have been camping out there for over 20 years. Our other favorite place is Ouray. We enjoy off road driving in the mountains. This July we will be back at Sugar Loafin campground in Leadville. If you are in the neighborhood we will be in the new Flagstaff 831FKBSS. Congrats' on your purchase.

We will be up there in July also. Staying at Turquoise Lake campground. this will be our first time staying there. We are going with several other families and will be going out to eat one night in Leadville at a place famous for their prime rib. I don't remember the name right now. Maybe you are familiar with the place.

That's great. The restaurant is Quincys and if you love prime rib that's the place to go.They serve prime rib on Fri and Sat and Filet Mignon rest of the week. That is the only two entrees served. The only sides are house salad, bread, and bake potato. It is all good and you won't believe the inexpensive prices which have been that way forever. You can get your prime or filet cuts small to large. Next door is Zichittellas if you like Italian. If you like pizza skip Pizza Hut and go to High Mountain Pies another local favorite. If you want to try your hand at horseback riding check with our good friends ,Jake and Anita at Mega Mtn. Magic. That's one of the reason for Leadville my wife grew up riding horses and loves riding.

Since we'll be with the group at Turquoise too; count us in for the dinner out-maybe we can do that instead of a group dinner Dan? Just a thought-let's find out who is going on that trip and suggest it.
