New owners of Grey Wolf 25RR

Hi, we're owners of our first hard bodied trailer after having pop-ups and tent camped since being married 28 years ago. We have a Harley and want to take it on our camping trips with us and thus the reason for the toy hauler. Just got her home a week ago and love it. Partied in the camper with camping friends the night we brought it home just to break it in right! Trying to figure out placement for wheel removable wheel chocks before we set out to camp Memorial Day weekend. Can't wait to go camping!

Thanks for the well wishes. Cruising the site now to find ideas on customizing our new bed. Also need to figure out how to stop the bounce we had when bring the Wolf home.

Major undertaking, but shocks on the trailer sure stopped it on my 5er.

We put new shocks on our 2005 Silverado when we bought it 2 years ago because it bounced bad when pulling our old pop-up. When we brought our 25rr home we hit a stretch of new highway that was reminiscent of the bounce with our pop-up. trying to search on here to seeing if it's an adjustment I need to make with leveler.

Ya I'm trk shock shopping too, still try'n to picture a way to put shocks on our TH,like that idea.

You are probly right about making sure hitch height, and WD adjustments, being first thing to check. IMHO
But if you're shocks are old"like my stock rancho 10yrs old, think it might be time?" or not that old, might be a good idea to change them.

We bought our 2005 Silverado less than 2 years ago. First trip we used it for to tow our pop-up it bounced like crazy so we put new shocks all the way around it. Cant be the shocks I wouldn't think. Our new tt pulled well for the 45 mile trip home except for a 5 mile stretch of new highway that was almost intolerable.

Don't know what suspension you have, but I put shocks on the Alko torsion axles. Forest River Forums - OldCoot's Album: Adding shock absorbers to Alko torsion axles

Hi! We did the same thing )bought a 25RR) about a week ago and have a Harley Trike. Wheel chock should arrive today UPS and will let you know how I make out with it. I drove the trike into the trailer and marked the front tire placement with painters tape. Looked underneath since the bolts go through the floor and it looks clear up to the front tire so I should be good. Trike is 9 ft long.

Thanks Dennis. Interested to know how it goes. We bought Pingel removable chocks that we haven't installed yet. Waiting until we camp without the bike Memorial day weekend. Kind of surprised you're using chocks for a trike though.

Just one heavy duty chock for the front tire with a flip up bar that helps to keep the bike from moving in addition to tie downs. Trike cost so much I don't want to take any chances...
