Hello from North Carolina.
Today we purchased a Rockwood Signature Ultra Light 8285WS.
We traded in our Jayco JayFeather 25F LGT and are looking forward to using the new unit.
We pull our trailer with an 08 Sliverado 2500 Xtended Cab Long Bed Alllison Duramax so weight was not an issue in our selection it was floorplan and overall length.
It was down to a Cougar or this unit and we looked at Cougar then the Rockwood and the Rockwood "spoke" to us. It has the light interior and lots of extras and we really like the floorplan.
We have gone to Florida (state parks) January to March end for the last four years and feel this unit will satisfy our needs for years to come.
This trailer will probably fit on most spaces designated as 25' because the tongue easily adds another 4 ft.for a bumper pull trailer. You would be surprised how fast the long sites in SW Florida State Parks are snapped up 11 months in advance.
