New Rockwood owner
Hello all,
I have on order a Rockwood Ultra lite floorplan 2604ws emerald package. The dealer I have purchased it from says it will take 8 to 10 weeks for delivery.Out of curiosity,is there any delays in manufacturing that I should be aware of.

Just returned home from the Rally in Goshen. Forest River is very busy right now. I would guess it could be that long to schedule your model for production. Also, there is a shortage of delivery drivers to get your unit to the dealer. However, it will be well worth the wait when you get your new rig.

x2 the above. I too am waiting on a new unit. Economy is booming and everyone wants a new camper. There is also a driver shortage due to all the other work/jobs available to people. I am sure they just cannot hire enough people.

We ordered a 2703ws on June 10th. Came off the line on July 31st. Supposed to arrive this week. We just have to wait our turn on the assembly line. Too many choices of floor plans and interiors. The options list is formidable and I hope I get everything I ordered.

I wish you all the best with your new rig when you get it Joe....I ordered mine on 6/21 crossing my fingers its gets here before my next trip which is in september.

The thing with my unit is there are no options!!!! Closest one would be an A/C unit. The Highwall pop ups come pretty much loaded with all the extra's. Only choice you have are a few things they toss on the couch for the owner. There are no "build" differences.
Hope that speeds things up a bit. As I said, it is out of my control.

Enjoy it when you get it. We really like ours. We bought ours used, 1 year old. If you don't need the second rocker, remove it. The door way gets crowded with it.

My salesman says there are no delays in manufacturing. But, they have a shortage of drivers. Our 2703WS was finished July 31st. Its still waiting for transport.

Bucktail149, congratulations on the new Rockwood 2604. We owned one before we bought our current unit. The 2604 is a very roomy trailer, and very easy to pull...we pulled ours with a Silverado 1500 and probably towed it 15,000 or more miles before we traded up.

B and B. Still working and can't take the time. Besides its over 1300 miles each way. Seems to me that if you owned a good size truck up there you could make some money delivering these to us Floridians.
F150 and 2703WS stuck in Indiana.
