New Roo Owner

Hello!
We just purchased a NTU 2010 Rockwood Roo 233S. Not happy that we have to wait till Spring to get it home! Can't wait to "meet" everyone on here and read through all the great tips.

We have upgraded from our Coleman Niagara pop up. I will miss those king size beds for sure! But it will be nice that the kids don't have to share and will even have room to bring friends along!

Any and all tips will be greatly appreciated!!

We are waiting because we have no trips planned, too much going on with the kids sports and they will store it over the winter for us. (no room as we have to sell the pop up) Can't really camp in Central New York after October anyway....too much snow! So we will wait, impatiently, for spring!! We do have some trips booked already!!

Congrats on the new roo and yeah it sucks that you have to wait. We went from a Rockwood HW 276 to a Roo 233s and there are many things missed but many things not missed one being having to pop it up and down all the time. But the main thing that we will miss is the ability to have a 360 view all the way around us and being able to unzip the canvas everywhere like you did on the pop up. We upgraded for similar reasons we need the room for kids. But you will thoroughly enjoy having the ability to walk in and out of your trailer whenever you'd like without having to lift it. We did find that in the roo the windows were bigger and having the beds popping out on all sides we were still able to get a large majority of airflow.

There are many things you can do to the Roo to upgrade it and personalize it. But the one thing I would have you look into is putting on stabilizer bars. One thing you didn't experience a whole lot in a pop-up is the rocking when people walked around. You may find that in the Roo you will have a little more movement when people are moving around than you are use to. For some people this doesn't bother them but for us it did. So if you find out that this bothers you, you may want to look into this.
