New Roo owners in Wyoming

We just got our new Roo 23ss delivered today to us in Wyoming. Already have reservations for next Sunday in the Denver area. Hoping to find a place for Saturday Between WY state line and Denver, but no luck yet. (feel free to make suggestions) Our previous camper was a 1979 Apache Ranger and we are excited to move up to the Roo with more room for kids (3) and dogs (2). Look forward to learning more from experienced Roo campers.

Welcome to the "Roo Kroo"!!!
and to the exclusive 23SS Owner's Club!

i do have to say, since i own a 23SS, with 3 kids and 2 dogs, i would've suggested the 233S instead. with 5 people and 2 dogs, that third queen bed would have prevented needing to setup the dinette or sofa every nite.

Yes we liked the 233s also. However with the husband that works as a service manager for a Ford Dealer (and was a tech prior) he made that pick based on weight and our towing vehicle. We have 2 young kids and a teen, all boys, so the littlest will probably sleep with the oldest (or us) and the middle will sleep on the sofa. We do not plan at this time to fold down the dinette unless we take other kids with us and then we may just add a tent. LOL

Mostly we prefer rustic camping locales but we travel to Denver several times a year for kids medical appts at the Children's hospital so then we stay at Cherry Creek since it is close.

Congrats and welcome! Our first rig was a 23ss and really liked the floorplan and overall room! As for camping spots, not too many choices between, some that we go to are Carter Lake Resevoir, Riverview RV park, all outside of Loveland. There is St Vrain State Park just outside of Longmont but right off of I-25. Trouble is, most fill up pretty quickly.
