New RV owner here

Hello all, My GF and I are new to the world of RV'ing. We are the proud owners of a new Aviator Electra. Nothing else out there impressed me as much as the Aviator has, including the over priced Airstreams. We picked it up Friday and took it for a weekend shake down flight. There were and are a few bugs to work out, but I am a mechanic and quite handy with repairs. Looking forward to meeting some new people and wearing some tires out
Cheers
Andre

Hi,
Seems we are in similar shoes! My gf and I are also new to us first time RV owners. We bought a 2007 Shamrock 21SS. We've done plenty of tent camping and love it, and thus thought a hybrid was a perfect way to go, so as to still get that tent feel while sleeping, but have some amenities for longer trips as I've acquired an autoimmune disease a few years ago and can't currently work. Needed some of the more comfortable amenities of home, but don't want to sit at home all the time. I've worked in construction for 15 years so have lots of experience working on and fixing things so wasn't scared of a used Camper. Five of those years was in a cabinet shop, so i'll be adding some pretty neat custom features to her. And the 07 we bought looks brand new, I don't think it was camped in more than a dozen times. Anyways, looking forward to meeting some fellow rv'ers out on the road and learning from all of you and hopefully sharing some tips and tricks of my own.
